Donald J. Robertson is a cognitive-behavioral psychotherapist, trainer and writer known for his work connecting the principles of ancient Stoicism with modern cognitive-behavioral therapy.

Originally from Ayrshire, Scotland, Robertson spent many years living and working in England before moving to Canada. He has studied Stoicism and incorporated its principles into his professional work for more than two decades.

Robertson is also a founding member of Modern Stoicism, a nonprofit organization dedicated to researching and promoting the practical application of Stoic philosophy in modern life.
