About the Product

Create a quiet daily ritual with MOKU 木 MATCHA: TAYLR'S BLEND, a ceremonial-grade Japanese matcha created through a collaboration between LAKA and Taylr Anne Castro.

Sourced from Shizuoka, Japan, MOKU combines two prized Japanese tea cultivars, Yabukita and Samidori, into a custom ceremonial matcha blend. LAKA describes the blend as a carefully selected combination of ceremonial varietals created around the ideas of balance, nature and everyday ritual.

The name itself reflects that philosophy. Moku draws from the Hawaiian word associated with island, while the Japanese character 木 means tree or nature, connecting the Hawaiian and Japanese influences behind the collaboration.

Unlike sweetened matcha mixes or instant matcha beverages, this is pure ceremonial-grade matcha, allowing it to be prepared traditionally with water or incorporated into a matcha latte.

Ideal for anyone interested in ceremonial matcha, Japanese green tea and mindful daily rituals, MOKU turns preparing a cup of matcha into an opportunity to slow down, reset and enjoy something deliberately made.

How to Use

Add your preferred serving of MOKU Matcha to a bowl or cup and combine with a small amount of hot water.

Whisk thoroughly until the matcha is smooth and lightly frothy, then add additional water to taste. For a matcha latte, prepare the matcha concentrate first and finish with your preferred warm or cold milk.

Avoid boiling water when preparing ceremonial matcha, as excessively hot water can create a more bitter flavor.

MOKU can be enjoyed as part of a morning ritual, before activity or whenever you want a deliberate alternative to coffee.
