Features & Specifications

Train beyond the limits of your grip with SquatWedgiez Weightlifting Grips, designed to provide a more secure connection to the bar while helping protect your hands during demanding strength workouts.

Each grip features a long, durable textured rubber pad that wraps around barbells, dumbbells and cable attachments. The additional grip helps you maintain control during heavy pulling movements, particularly when your hands and forearms begin to fatigue before the muscles you're actually trying to train.

They're particularly useful for exercises such as deadlifts, Romanian deadlifts, rows, pulldowns and shrugs, where grip strength can become a limiting factor as the load increases.

The rubber pad also creates a protective layer between your palm and aggressive barbell knurling, helping reduce friction and the wear on your hands that can come with frequent lifting.

Unlike traditional lifting straps that require several wraps around the bar, the extended grip pad provides a quick, straightforward setup. When you're not using the grips for a pulling movement, they can be rotated around to the back of your hands without having to remove them.

Whether you're training your back, legs or full-body strength, these grips provide extra support when you want the target muscles rather than your hands to determine when the set is finished.

How to Use

Secure each grip comfortably around the wrist, allowing it to sit near the base of the hand.

Place the rubber section between your palm and the bar, then wrap the extended pad around the barbell, dumbbell or cable attachment in the direction of your grip. Close your hand around the wrapped surface before beginning the exercise.

The grips should fit comfortably without being excessively tight. During pulling exercises, they are designed to slide slightly upward and rest against the base of the hand.

When the grips aren't needed, simply rotate the rubber pads around to the back of your hands.
