About the Product

Keep everyday skin care simple with Dr. Doug's Original Miracle Balm, a concentrated, multi-purpose balm designed to moisturize, soothe and protect dry, rough and irritation-prone skin.

The formula combines Organic Coconut Oil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Shea Butter and Beeswax to create a rich protective layer that helps lock in moisture and support the skin's natural barrier. Vitamin E adds antioxidant support, while small amounts of Lavender and Peppermint Essential Oils provide a light, fresh botanical scent.

Unlike conventional lotions, Original Miracle Balm contains no water or unnecessary fillers. The concentrated balm stays on the skin longer, making a small amount suitable for areas that need additional moisture and protection.

Use it on dry hands, cracked heels, elbows, knees, cuticles, lips and other rough or dry areas. It's also particularly useful for active lifestyles, where it can be applied to areas prone to friction, rubbing and chafing before running, hiking, cycling or training.

The formula was originally developed by board-certified neurologist and ultra-endurance athlete Dr. Doug Strobel, who wanted one simple product he could carry during long-distance races for both skin protection and everyday moisture. That original seven-ingredient formula became the foundation for the entire Dr. Doug's range.

With no parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrance or petroleum, Original Miracle Balm offers a straightforward approach to daily skin care for home, travel and active days.

How to Use

Start with a small amount and warm the balm between your fingers or palms before applying.

Massage a thin layer into clean, dry or slightly damp skin until absorbed. A little goes a long way, so if the skin feels excessively greasy or sticky, use a smaller amount next time.

Use as needed for:

  • Dry hands, elbows and knees
  • Cracked or rough heels
  • Chapped lips and dry facial areas
  • Cuticles and fingertips
  • Areas exposed to frequent washing or dry weather
  • Thighs, feet and other friction-prone areas before exercise
  • Everyday post-shower moisture

For particularly dry heels, apply before bed and wear cotton socks overnight. For chafing protection, apply a thin layer to friction-prone areas before activity.
